Nanomaterial-Based Biosensors

A biosensor is a device that combines a complex biological recognition component and a physical transducer to detect analytes of interest. Biosensors are devices used to detect the existence or concentration of a biological study, such as a biomolecules, a biological structure or a microorganism.  Nanomaterial-based biosensors have advanced exceptional key topics in the field of diagnostics. The combination of nanomaterials and biological sensing elements to identify chemical or biological molecules takes instigated in the expansion of new Nano biosensors. Nano biosensors offer a number of important advantages over conventional biological events, and could have a significant impact on humankind. The several nanomaterial-based biosensors that use different biological recognition elements for biomedical applications.

  • Carbon nanotubes
  • Electrochemical Biosensor
  • Pathogenic virus
